Rosario, Argentina
After Cordoba, I headed to Rosario to meet up with a couple of wonderful Argentinian girls I had met in Guyaquil, Ecuador. One of them was kind enough to let me stay in her apartment along with her roommate. Rosario is one of the bigger cities in Argentina and is located in between Buenos Aires and Cordoba.
The day I arrived, my gracious host and I took a nice walk to the huge park near her neighborhood and we got some yummy ice cream. We had the chance to catch up on our travels since we had met and about life and work and dating. That night her super sweet roommate made us tacos and later we all judged dudes on Tinder…good times :-).
The next day I visited the flag monument with the other young lady who teaches English. The monumet is quite impressive and you get great views of the town from the top. And afterwards, we all met up and I got to try a yummy lomito sandwich.
The english teacher was kind enough to invite me to speak with her class that afternoon. She had two students that were around 16. They asked me some questions and I asked them some questions so that they could practice their English. I was very impressed, they both spoke English extremely well.

That evening the girls arranged to have asado (steak) made for me! We went to a riverside park – Mitre and several other friends joined us. It was a wonderful night with great food and great company. I even got to practice my terrible Spanish.

Rosario was really a great experience because I got to see the city through the eyes of locals. Thank you ladies for being so welcoming and kind!
